As I reflect on my goals entering this internship and where I stand now, I can't help but acknowledge that my initial expectations were perhaps a bit too optimistic. I had envisioned coming in and swiftly implementing the principles of Code Sports, leading to immediate positive results. However, reality has proven to be more complex.

Transitioning from football to baseball, I've encountered significant differences in the nature of the sport. Baseball is inherently more intricate, requiring a depth of understanding and skills honed over years of practice. This complexity extends to the recruiting process, where success hinges on factors cultivated since youth.

Despite my efforts, I haven't seen the rapid results I had hoped for. It's become apparent that this journey will require a more long-term approach. Instead of solely focusing on helping seniors make it to college, I realize the need to shift my attention to the juniors and sophomores who are deeply committed to baseball. By investing in their development over the course of multiple years, we can lay a stronger foundation for their collegiate aspirations.

While the adjustment in my thought process may be challenging, it's a necessary step in ensuring the success and fulfillment of these young athletes' dreams. It's a reminder that progress often requires patience and adaptability, qualities I'm committed to embodying as we continue this journey together.
